Patti Singh

Brahaspati "Patti" Singh, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, auntie, and friend, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the age of 78. Patti, formerly of Orlando, Florida, had made Blacklick, Ohio her home in recent years.

Patti's life was a testament to her unwavering faith and deep love for God. As an active and dedicated member of Faith Family Community Church of the Nazarene in Winter Garden, Florida, she served her community with grace and devotion. Her faith was not only reflected in her service but also in the way she loved and nurtured those around her.

Cooking was Patti’s love language and she lavished that on many—often foregoing recipes to eyeball her measurements. Spoiling her grandchildren, growing her mango trees, and singing songs of worship brought her the most joy in this life. Often you can find her spending time with her sisters/sister-in-laws sharing stories and enjoying countless cups of tea.

Patti is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arnold Singh; her parents, Suchit and Rosaline Mahabir; and her siblings Gopalram Mohabir, Galo Singh, Violet Misir, and Shirley Mohabir. She is survived by her children, Trebhawan (Chandrawattie) Singh, Drupati (Tagepaul) Harpaul, Doowati (Kishore) Jagroop, Mukesh (Kavitrie) Singh, Carlos Lynch, and Arvin (Tanya) Singh; her siblings Virginia Bissoon and Dato Wynn; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, as she was an auntie to all who would let her be.

Patti’s legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, September 10 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 East Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230. A funeral service honoring Patti’s life will take place the following day, Wednesday, September 11, at 11:00am.
