Peggy Anstaett

Peggy is survived by a son, Jeff Anstaett (Kristy) and daughter, Cathy Spencer (Dave); granddaughter, Katy Paider (Michael); and grandsons, Jake Anstaett (Alicia), Joe Schleiger (Aycy) and Josh Schleiger (Amber). She had ten great grandchildren, Aubrey and Quinn Paider, Nash, Addy, Nora and Millie Anstaett, Lily and Reed Schleiger and Sage and Olive Schleiger; a niece, Jody Myer (Rick); and nephew, Andy Klein (Sharon).

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Floyd Anstaett, a great granddaughter, Alyvia Schleiger, and her sister and brother in law, Mary Ann and Carl Klein.

Peggy graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School in 1954 and married her high school sweetheart. They have lived in Johnstown since 1958. Together, they followed their dream and built their home in the country where they have lived since 1977. Peggy retired from Tech International and was active for years in Willing Workers, Alexandria Buckeyes and Homemakers. She loved her Ohio State Buckeyes Football, going to concerts and out to lunch with her cousins and classmates.

Her family was her pride and joy. She always had a jar full of candy for the grandkids and great grandkids to take home and enjoyed taking them for rides in the tractor wagon. Those who know her well would say “She’s small, but she’s mighty”.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
