

Bob worked as an electrical engineer with Western Electric and Bell Labs, as well as in Research and Development with Ongaro Dynamics. He later did consulting work towards the end of his career.
Outside of work, Bob had a variety of interests, hobbies, and passions. He loved Science Fiction, History, learning about airplanes, the military, technology (and all of the advancements made during his lifetime), repairing pretty much anything, and the United States Constitution. Bob was a life-long member of the Republican Party and a member of the NRA. He was a supporter of the Fraternal Order of Police, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Indian School. Bob was an intelligent man who highly valued honesty.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents; he leaves behind his sisters Betty L. McCoy, Beverley K. Kean, and Eleanor C. Quin; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 1pm at Newark Memorial Gardens, 4244 Marion RD, Newark, OH 43055.
Bob will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
