Sandra Louise Smith

Sandra Louise Smith, age 85, of Gahanna, Ohio went to be in the arms of her Savior on Friday, May 26, 2023. Born on December 1, 1937 in Indianapolis, IN to the late William L. Phillips and Charlotte M. Robinson-Tracy.

Sandy enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and connecting with her many wonderful friends. She loved family reunions and vacations, card clubs, quilting groups, and having lunch with her DSCC friends. She lived by The Golden Rule and enjoyed writing cards and letters of encouragement and finding ways to help and bless others. Sandy was a longtime member of Mifflin Presbyterian Church, faithfully serving twice as a Deacon.

Preceded in death by her parents and loving husband and best friend of 60 years Walter Paris Smith, brother-in-law, John Belcher, sister, Shirley Brewer, and niece Lisa Ruscetti.

Survived by her loving children, Kim (Rick) Hauser; Doug (Cindy) Smith; grandchildren, Jason Mosack, Jenny (Shawn) Gaffney, Colbi Smith; great-grandchildren, Emma and Carter. Sister-in-law, Lois Belcher. Brother-in-law, David (Diana) Phillips and a host of loving relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends, on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 4-7pm at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 10:30 am at the Mifflin Presbyterian Church, 123 Granville Street, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. Interment, Mifflin Cemetery, Gahanna, Ohio.
