

Sharon dedicated 30 years of her career to working in finance for the United States Government. She pursued her passion for creativity by starting a crafting business for over 45 years. Known for her crochet mastery, Sharon took her creative ideas to fairs and craft shows, always finding joy in making something new.
Sharon was the loving wife of Daniel Owen Haughey, with whom she shared over 36 years of marriage. They married on July 9, 1988, and together they raised a beautiful family. Sharon is survived by her four children; Christopher, Tina (Timothy), Robert, and Matthew (Tayler) grandchildren; Anthony (Elizabeth), Evan, Quentin, and Caeden, as well as her great-grandchildren; Emily and Addilyn, who brought immense joy to her life. Sharon is also survived by her twin sister, Karen (Daron), and her brothers, William and George. Above all, Sharon’s greatest joy in life was her family, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Her kindness, creativity, and love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her. Sharon will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love and dedication to those she cared for will live on in their hearts forever.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 11:00am-1:00pm at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 East Johnstown Rd. Gahanna, Ohio 43230 followed by a service beginning at 1:00pm. Services will conclude at Mifflin Cemetery, 155 Olde Ridenour Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230. Friends and family will gather for a luncheon following the cemetery at Gahanna Golf Course, 220 Olde Ridenour Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230.
