Stephanie was a proud alumna of Ohio University-Lancaster, where she completed three years of college. Her career included roles at Bob Evans and as an Uber driver, where she valued the connections she made and the stories she shared with others.
A passionate advocate for animals, Stephanie lived by the motto "adopt, don't shop." She always cherished all her fur babies—two cats, Little Man and Odd Ball, and her dogs, Zoey, Minnie, and Mickey. In addition to her dedication to animals, Stephanie had a love for writing poetry.
Stephanie is survived by her loving husband David Pfaltzgraf; father, James Cook; siblings, Sam (Jane) Strawn, Stacey Martin, Jim (Jo) Cook, and Rich (Eleanor) Cook; stepchildren, Holly (Eric), Mitch and Riley, Nieces and Nephews; Allie, Mack, Caitlin, Whitney, Gretchen, Louis and Charlie. She is preceded in death by her mother Sheila (Street) Cook and Grandmother Mary Street.
A funeral service celebrating Stephanie's life will be held on Tuesday August 20, 2024 beginning at 4pm at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 East Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, Ohio 43230. Immediately followed by a visitation from 5-7pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local animal shelter in Stephanie's name, continuing her legacy of compassion and care for animals.
