Sylvia Ann Tilson

Sylvia was an active and devoted member of the Church of the Resurrection Choir and was known for her warm heart and love of cooking. Her joyful spirit and kindness touched the lives of many, and she found great joy in serving others and spending time with her large, loving family. She was also a lover of dogs, a proud attendee of The Ohio State University, and a lifelong Buckeyes fan.

She is survived by her children, Kevin Tilson (Jana), Ronald Tilson, Douglas Tilson (Kathy), Kerry Tilson (Joan), Gregory Tilson (Lori), and Julie Stein (George); her sister, Bonnie Fusca; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Tilson, and daughter-in-law, Lorra Tilson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 4–6 PM at Schoedinger Funeral Home, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio. A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Resurrection, 6300 E Dublin Granville Road, New Albany, Ohio.
