Thomas E. Judy

Thomas E. Judy, age 68, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family after losing his fight to cancer on Thursday June 8, 2023. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 17, 1954. Tom graduated from Bishop Watterson High School, Class of 1972, and continued on to Columbus State Community College. He served in the U.S. Army for 6 years before being honorably discharged. Tom retired from Mt. Carmel Health System after 35 years of dedicated service.

Preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Angelina (Chessa) Judy. Survived by his loving wife Debbie (Powers) Judy; sons, James (Jenna) Judy and Ryan (Lindsey) Judy; grandchildren, Kolson, Khloe, & Baby Judy, and Declan Judy; siblings, Carol (Mike) Stewart, Al (Brenda) Judy, Linda (Danny) McMullen, PJ Alexander (Don Niday), & Nancy (Magdi) Bishara; and Sammy, the dog he never wanted but who he loved dearly. As well as many extended family members.

A visitation for Tom will be held Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Schoedinger Margarum Northeast, 1051 E Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. A visitation will also occur Friday, June 16, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with the funeral service to begin at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Pelotonia Foundation. His son, Ryan, and daughter-in-law, Lindsey, will be riding in Tom's honor this year.
