Alexis was born with Downs Syndrome and due to other health complications, Alexis’ life was spent in the hospital; yet, through it all she was always smiling. She was our little angle and words cannot describe what she taught us in the short time she was with us. Those who are left to morn her passing are her parents, Blake and Jean Burks; a brother, Lucas Burks; a sister, Jacquelyn Burks and numerous other family members.
Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, on Saturday, August 9th, 2014 with a visitation from 12:00pm until 1:00pm followed by a graveside service in Oakwood Memorial Gardens at 1:00pm.
