Amy Vincent, 49, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, was born March 18, 1977, in Alabama, and passed away on April 16, 2026. Amy will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew her, and for the steady grace with which she moved through life—thoughtful in spirit, generous in heart, and compassionate in the ways that mattered most.
A 1995 graduate of Gardendale High School, Amy pursued her education with purpose and determination, earning a Second Bachelor and Masters Degree from Liberty University. Her commitment to learning reflected a quiet courage and an adventurous outlook—an openness to what was possible, and a willingness to meet life with both diligence and hope.
Amy’s life was rich with the simple joys she held close. She loved Alabama Football, shopping for clothes and jewelry, and the comfort of stuffed animals. She also cherished her cats—her two cats Larry and Marky—who brought warmth and companionship to her days. Amy’s sense of wonder and curiosity found expression in her love of travel, and she was able to visit Singapore, Australia, France, and England. She also renewed vows in Aruba and enjoyed Caribbean cruises, embracing each journey as a gift and a memory to be carried forward. Above all, Amy loved her family, and most of all loved Jesus—faith that shaped her life with meaning and inspired those around her.
Amy’s kindness extended well beyond her immediate circle. She gave often to numerous charities, offering help in a way that was sincere and unassuming, guided by compassion and a genuine desire to uplift others. In this, Amy was quietly inspirational—showing that generosity, offered consistently and without fanfare, can leave a lasting mark.
Amy was always full of laughter and joy. She had a keen sense of humor and whit, always cutting up and joking with the family and always had a quick return.
Since 2018 she fought a couregous battle with apendix cancer. She was a mighty warrior and fought harder than anyone possibly could.
