Arnold Franklin Earnest, of Gardendale, Alabama was born May 29, 1926 to Alcie and Austin Earnest, passed away June 21, 2018. Arnold is survived by his son Larry (Margaret), his granddaughter Laura Panitch (Seth), and a host of nieces and nephews.
Arnold was preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Betty Karrh Earnest who passed away May 24 of this year; his son David, three brothers, Clenon, Donald, and Glenn Earnest; one sister, Rachel Blanton and his parents.
He was a longtime member of the Fultondale Church of Christ.
Arnold was a Master Electrician and part owner of Kirkpatrick Electric, and a longtime member of IBEW, Local 136. He was an avid golfer and horseman.
Arnold was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. His kindness over the years touched many lives.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Monday, June 25, 2018 with a visitation to begin at 2:00pm; funeral at 3:00pm followed by his entombment in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Mausoleum in Gardendale, Alabama.
