Barbara Jackson

Barbara is survived by her husband of 48 years, Stanley Jackson; daughter, Kimilie Allen; sons, Mitchell Allen (Ellen) and Mike Allen (Robin); 4 grandchildren, Kyle Elrod, Nikki Black, Mitchell Thomas Allen (Amber), and Craig Allen (Catherine); 7 great-grandchildren, Jacob, Alissa, Eli, Ember, Montana, Rafe, and Wesley; sister-in-law, Breezie Collier; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Sarah (Barnes) Collier and brother, William Raymond Collier, Jr.

Barbara worked in retail at Lovemans (later Pizitz, McRaes, and Belk) for most of her life until she retired. She was a long time member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles-972 Aerie. Barbara was always the life of the party. She loved to sing karaoke, dance, and have a good time with her friends and family. She loved her kids and grandkids dearly and especially enjoyed spending time, holidays, and special events with them. Wife, Mother, Mother-In-Law, MeeMaw, Sister, Cousin, Aunt, and Friend, she will be greatly missed by many.

A visitation for Barbara will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A committal service will occur on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 11:45 AM at Alabama National Cemetery, 45M7+8H, Montevallo, AL 35115.
