Barbara is survived by her son Albert Sanders (Marion); her brother Raymond Vincent, Jr, (Ann); her grandson Justin Sanders and her grandson Joshua Sanders.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father Raymond Joseph Vincent and her mother Myrtle Leigh Ethridge Vincent; her sister Betty Elaine Muncy.
Mrs. Shoemaker is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Barbara graduated from Jones Valley High School, class of 1959. She worked several years at Gold Dome Financial Group, South Trust Bank and retired from Wells Fargo Bank. She was a member of New Beginnings Assembly of God.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service celebrating her life at 2:00 PM. She will be buried, following the funeral, at Highland Memorial Gardens, Bessemer, Al. Rev. Barbara J. Tressell will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in her memory to New Beginnings Assembly of God.
