Beatrice Davis Johnson, age 83 of Mountain Brook passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017. Mrs. Johnson retired from Marmon Highway Transportation after 46 years of service. She was accomplished and thoroughly enjoyed her career, travel, and most of all her friends and family. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Owen Davis and Mary Bertha Trussel Davis; brothers, Carl Davis and Eulis Davis; sisters, Wilma Jefferys, Dorothy Carlisle, and Audrey Hills. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Billy Jack Johnson; a brother, Hulet Davis of Colorado; sisters–in-law, Barbara J. Hicks (Bill), Viva J. Graves both of Gardendale, AL and Belva Sue J. Cummings of Cullman, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own children.
Services will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens in Gardendale, AL. Our family thanks Magnolia Ridge for the wonderful and loving care provided to her and our family.
