Beverly Ann Nichols

Beverly is survived by her loving sons, Chris Nichols and wife Brooke, of Warrior, AL, and Ben Nichols and wife Bobbie, of Helena, AL, and her four cherished grandchildren, Emory, Cooper, Isabella, and Eden. She is also survived by her siblings, Billy Whitlock and wife Cindy, and Anita Hamilton and husband Jay, all of Warrior, AL. Beverly was preceded in death by her father, William I. Whitlock, Jr., her mother, Margaret Whitlock, the father of her children, Jairus "Ronnie" Nichols, and her sister, Patricia Whitlock Walker.

Beverly graduated from Rogers Area Vocational School in Gardendale, AL and furthered her education later in life at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She had a fulfilling career, working as a secretary at Bruno's Supermarkets and later as a registered nurse at UAB Hospital primarily working in nephrology, where she loved and cared for her patients.

Beverly will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her kindness towards others, and her unwavering commitment to her profession. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Beverly's life on Friday, August 18, 2023 with visitation beginning at 2:00pm with the service starting 3:00pm at Ridout’s of Gardendale, 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071, graveside service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Beverly's memory.
