Bonnie Stuart Martin

Bonnie Will Stuart Martin, born January 15, 1943, in Forest Home, Alabama, to John and Ethel Stuart. She passed away on February 1, 2026, peacefully at her home. She lived a life rooted in faith, family, and grace. She made her home in Pinson, Alabama, where she devoted herself wholeheartedly to those she loved.

Bonnie was the beloved wife of William "Bill" Martin, her husband of 65 years, and together they built a life centered on love and family. She was a devoted mother to her sons Mike, Mitchell, Mark (Patti), and Matt, and a proud Nana to Melanie, Sean, Jeffrey, Andrew, Mallory, and Chase as well as a cherished great-grandmother to 12 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy.

She is also survived by her sister Cathy Kinney (David) and brother Bob Stuart, along with many extended family members and friends who were blessed by her kindness.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her beloved son Mitchell, her sisters Ollie and Liz, her parents John and Ethel Stuart, and her parents-in-law Bud and Lola Belle Martin.

A wonderful homemaker, Bonnie ran a household of four boys with remarkable grace, patience, and love. She was an exceptional cook, the best storyteller, and someone whose presence made everyone feel at home. She had a lifelong love for Elvis, fashion, and beauty, and she always carried herself with elegance.

Whether tending to her garden, watching the birds she adored, or caring for her family, Bonnie found joy in life's simple, meaningful moments.

Above all, Bonnie always put her family first. Her faith in the Lord was steady and inspiring, guiding her through every season of life and leaving a lasting example for all who knew her.

Her legacy is one of love, devotion, faith, and quiet strength. A life beautifully lived and deeply cherished.

Visitation will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, located at 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, Alabama, 35071, on February 4, 2026, starting at 1:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life Service will follow at the same location on February 4, 2026, beginning at 2:00 pm.

Bonnie's final resting place will be at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, Alabama, 35071.
