Smith, Brooks Kelsey, 6 months, 16 days old, of Mt. Olive, Alabama passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 in the RNIC at UAB Hospital. Brooks was born prematurely on October 25, 2010. He was loved by all who met him. Brooks is survived by his father and mother Brian and Ashley Smith; grandparents: Vicki and Delane Mann, Larry and Barbara Clark, Tim and Connie Smith and Mel and Tammie Ulmer; great grandparents: Kenny and Rhonda Clemons, Evelyn Smith and Mildred Wynn and Melvin and Sue Ulmer. Brooks also had many loving Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Visitation will be Friday, May 13, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Gardendale Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at Gardendale Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Children’s Playground Fund at Gardendale Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, 805 Crest Drive, Gardendale, AL 35071.
