Carol Curd Russell age 74 of Morris, Alabama went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 17. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She is retired from Carraway Methodist Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her father, Grant Curd; mother, Mildred Trammell; sister, Linda Curd; daughter, Linda Berry; granddaughter, Misty Yates, and son-in-law Gene Cox. She is survived by her husband, Fred E. Russell, son, Michael David Yates; daughter, Connie Cox-Pickle (Steve); stepsons, Jeffrey Russell (Jerri) and Scott Russell; brother, Ricky Curd (Maxine); 7 grandchildren: Crystal Pickle (Justin), William Durrett, Tonya Yates, Sara Wood, Cody Yates, Bethany Berry, and Stephen Berry; 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson, 5 nephews, 1 niece and many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday February 22 at 10:00 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with burial service to follow at 12:00. Pastor Guy Moore will be officiating.
