Charles “Charlie” E. Green, Jr. of Warrior, AL passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the age of 47. He will never be forgotten. Charlie was a great man who would give anybody any thing he had. He loved all the children in his family and they all enjoyed playing with him. His family is what made his world go around. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Charles Green, Sr.; a brother, James Green; and a brother-in-law, Gerald Hodges. He is survived by his loving family, his sisters, Kim Alvis (Bo), Wendy Hodges, and Lisa Green (Tommy Streeter); his brother, Stanley “Slick” Green; double first cousin, Debra Green, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends who will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 11 AM at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery off Highway 31 in Gardendale.
