Chester Lee Lollar, Jr., was born on December 10, 1923 and passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 at the age of 91. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Christine Wildmon Lollar, parents, Chester L. Lollar, Sr. and Jane Evans Lollar, his sister, Gladys Renfrow, and brother, Glen Lollar. He is survived by his sister, Margaret Baker, and brother, Charles Lollar, children, Janice (Preston) Heard, Barbara (Chet) Ellis, Stephen (Sherry) Lollar, 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. He was a World War 2 veteran. Chester was retired from Alabama Power with 40 years of service. He was a faithful member of Fultondale Church of Christ.
Funeral will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Saturday, November 28th, 2015 at 11:30 am. There will be no graveside service. Wayne Chappell, brother-in-law, will be the presiding minister.
