Christi Lou Walden

Christi Lou Walden, born on December 25th, 1939 in Adamsville, Alabama; a current resident of Pinson, Alabama, went home to be with the Lord on May 12th, 2015 at the age of 75. She was a member of the Welcome Missionary Baptist Church in Pinson, Alabama.

Christi was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Eugene and Ina Belle Gilley, her loving husband of 48 years, Wallace Earl Walden; three sisters, Barbara Page, Norma Howell, and Ina Faye Yates.

Christi is survived by her son, Gregory Earl Walden (Lisa); daughters, Felicia Gay Burchell (Wendell), Twyla Gail Walden, and Martha Anna Walden; sisters, Juanita Franklin, Helen Singleton, and Jane Thomas; grandchildren Christopher Burchell (Katherine), Derek Burchell (Casey), Brandon Burchell (Laura), Zachary Walden (Courtney), and Amanda Jones (Eric); great grandchildren, Jaylynn Burchell, Kaylee Burchell, Vega Burchell, and Dakota Lee Johnson, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Friday, May 15th, 2015 with a visitation to begin at 1:00pm, a funeral service at 2:00pm followed by her burial in Hopewell Cemetery in Pinson, AL. Services will be officiated by Rev. Johnny Allred.
