Dedi Elizabeth Murray

Dedi was married to her loving husband, Robert Wayne Murray, on October 6, 1978. They were married for exactly 43 years. She was a beloved wife, sister, aunt and grand-aunt. Although she did not have any children of her own she was able to bestow her love and affection on her nieces and nephews. She was a woman of many talents: baking, cake decorating, sewing, ceramics, etc. She excelled in everything she did throughout her life. She was the most dedicated, loving, patient, passionate woman in the world. Dedi’s heart was in serving and helping others. She was a cancer survivor. She will be missed dearly by all.

Dedi was preceded in death by her parents, Alma Jean (Helms) Thomas and Benjamin Price “Ranger” Thomas, Sr.

Dedi is survived by her husband Wayne Murray; brother, Benjamin Price Thomas, Jr. (Joan); nephews, Benjamin Price Thomas, III (Jennifer-Jean), James Edward Thomas (Megan), Travis Dwayne Ogles (Allison) and Jeremy Lee Ogles (Caitlin); grand-nephew: Benjamin Price Thomas, IV; grand-nieces: Cora Jean Thomas and Ella Kate Thomas.

The family will be holding services to celebrate Dedi’s life at a later date.
