Donnie a resident of Gardendale, AL, passed away Monday at the age of 56. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Myra McKendree; daughter, Beverly McKendree and a brother, Ricky McKendree. Donnie is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Shirley McKendree; 2 sons, Christopher McKendree (Meagan), Ray Chafin (Peggy); brother, Ronnie McKendree; sisters, Kathy Grice and Debbie Mathis; grandchildren Blake, Will and Brody Chafin, Tatum and Baylee McKendree.
A visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Wednesday, Jan 22 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm with a funeral service at 3:00pm. Interment will follow in the Morris Community Cemetery.
