Doris M. Kemp, age 81 of Birmingham passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013. She was a resident of Norwood for over 52 years. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Kemp and a son, Jerry Kemp. She is survived by her loving family, sons, Tommy Kemp and David Kemp; a sister, Ruby Hutto; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 14th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 2 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Alexander and Rev. Guy Moore will officiate the service.
