Mrs. Doris Tubbs McDaniel

Doris Tubbs McDaniel, 86, of Gardendale passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018. Mrs. McDaniel is preceded in death by her husband, Bill McDaniel, son, Michael McDaniel, sister, Carolyn Hosmer, and brother, Barney Tubbs. She is survived by her sons: Timothy (Debra) McDaniel and GySgt. Kelly (Kathy) McDaniel, USMC (Ret.); grandchildren: Kevin (Becky) McDaniel, Melanie Kvam (Peter), Kati Czachowski (Michael), Sarah Fay (Francis), Zachary McDaniel (Amanda), Wesley McDaniel (Olivia) and Riley McDaniel; great grandchildren: Molly Kvam, Ellie Kvam, Ellis Czachowski, River McDaniel, Charlotte Fay, Bobby Fay, Lillian McDaniel, Lily Czachowski, Maddie Kvam, Luke McDaniel and Finn McDaniel; sisters: Evelyn Craig, Marilyn Riley, Amelia Robb, and a number of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel.
