Edith Delain Roberts Quick, a resident of Gardendale, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on December 12, 2020 at the age of 74. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister . She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Edith was a living example of Ephesians 4:32 “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” She was a member of Decatur Highway Church Of Christ.
Edith was preceded in death by her father, Joseph C. Roberts; her mother, Clayton B. Roberts; and brother, Glenn Dale Roberts.
Edith is survived by her husband, Roger C. Quick; her 3 children, Ricky Quick (Tammy), Traci Quick Ferguson (Randy), Jeff Quick ; nine grandchildren , eleven great grandchildren; sisters Frances Swann, Martha Scarbrough; and a host of friends and family.
A private family service will be held at Ridouts Gardendale Chapel. In lieu of flowers, her family request you make a donation to St. Jude’s Hospital or your favorite charity .
