

Elton served in the United States Army for three years and worked for BNSF Railroad for 30 years before retiring. Elton was a faithful member of First baptist church of Mount Olive where he served as a deacon. He loved serving the Lord, especially teaching his Sunday School Class.
Elton was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Michael Britt Campbell.
Elton is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Melba Campbell; his daughter, Shanna Parris and her husband, Eric Parris; his sister, Edwina Jamison; his grandchildren, Aaron Michael Parris and Mary Alainna Parris; his special niece, Tammy Williams and her husband, Jeff Williams; many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A visitation for Elton will be held Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Mt. Olive, 3200 Mt. Olive Road, Mt. Olive, AL 35117, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. His burial will be private.
