Eva Mae Logan

Eva Smith Logan, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love and faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Lewis Logan, Sr.; her daughter, Catrina Logan Christopher; her parents, Frank and Geneva Smith; her brothers, Frank Jr. and James “Peanut”; and her sisters, Patricia, Joann, and Jackie.

Eva is survived by her son, George Lewis Logan, Jr., and his wife, Mandi; her daughter, Stacy Logan, and her fiancé, David; her grandchildren, Madison, Stone, Sadie, and Jake; and her brothers, William and Richard. Her cousin, Marie Kilgore, played a significant role in her caregiving, providing comfort and support during her last years.

A devout Christian, Eva was a faithful member of McCombs Chapel, where she served in any capacity needed. She was known for her deep love of Jesus and her willingness to share her faith with others.

Eva’s life was defined by her love for her family and her commitment to her faith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with a service to celebrate Eva’s life beginning at 11:00 am. Burial to immediately follow at Pawnee Baptist Church Cemetery. The family invites all who knew her to join them in remembering a life well-lived.
