Frances P Johnson

Frances Pauline Johnson passed away on Monday, February 24th, 2025 at the age of 92 surrounded by family. She was born on August 29th, 1932 in Marion county Alabama to Monroe and Sarah Aldridge. Pauline was married to T. F. (Ted) Johnson and they were longtime residents of Gardendale, Alabama.

Over the years she worked in the retail and product demonstration fields for companies like V.J. Elmore and Sam’s Club. Pauline was a gentle and compassionate person that was very active in the church and truly loved all facets of nature and what it brought with every season.

Pauline was preceded in death by both parents, her husband (Ted), her sister Balma Benefield, her brother Powell Aldridge and is survived by her sister Mary Lou Mann, daughter Debra Herbert, son Donnie (Judy) Lyons, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Her kindness, generosity and wisdom will be greatly missed by all but live on in our memories forever.

Services for Pauline will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, Gardendale, Alabama, with a time of visitation to begin at 10:00 Am; funeral service at 11:00 AM, followed by her burial in Moncrief Cemetery, Gardendale, Alabama.
