Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Earline; son, Jim and Grandson, Mark.
Gene is survived by his son, David Lankford (Jo Ellen); grandchildren, Matthew Lankford and Anne Lankford; great grandchildren, Piper and Ethan Lankford (All of St. Louis).
Visitation will be held Sunday, Aug 28 at 1:00pm; funeral service at 3:00pm at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel followed by his burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
