Gloria Frances Parsons, age 71 of Guntersville, AL passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She always put the needs of her family before her own. She worked several years as a beautician but enjoyed being a wife and mother most of all. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Lena Turley; and a son, Scott Parsons. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James Parsons; children, Barry (Shelia), Chris, and Kelley; her grandchildren, Brittanie Estes (Josh), Caitlyn Goss (Luke), and Taylor Graham; great grandchildren, Mason Goss and Raylan Estes; her nine brothers and sisters.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 2 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
