James Paul Lankford, age 57 of Mt. Olive passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013. Jim is survived by his father, Gene E. Lankford; a brother, David Lankford of St. Louis, Missouri; and is preceded in death by his mother, Earline Lankford. Jim was a graduate of Minor High School and the University of West Florida. He was employed by Hertz Car Rental at Birmingham Airport. He was a big fan of the Crimson Tide and was a warm and friendly man with a big heart.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 21, 2013 at 1:30 pm at the Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with visitation from 12 noon until service time at 1:30 pm. Interment will be in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
