James C. McGowan of Gardendale passed away on June 13, 2013, having lived a life of love, devotion, and hard work for 88 years. He now joins his beloved wife, Margie, in an eternity of much-deserved rest. He is survived by his son, Gary and grandson, Shane, who will miss him greatly. A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 5:00 until 7:00pm with a funeral service on Monday at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
