James Edward Ramey

A native of Warrior, Alabama James graduated from Warrior High School. He was a member of Gardendale Mount Vernon Methodist Church and a member of Hayden Lions Club.

James is survived by daughter Sharon Leota Atwood; brother Fred Ramey and brother-in-law Sammie Reid.

James was preceded in death by father Harry J. Ramey and mother Alice Vivian Ramey; sisters Babara Ramey; Shirley Reid; Patsy Kennedy and brother-in-law Frankie Kennedy.

Mr. Ramey is also survived by several niece, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation for James on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel (Fireside Parlor), 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. Following the visitation there will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, AL 35071. Rev. Sammie Reid will officiate.
