James Paul “Jim” Walker, age 50 of Cullman, AL passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015. Jim was a true “COWBOY” who loved his horses! He enjoyed attending the Lonesome Dove Cowboy Church. He worked as a Refrigeration Technician for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Paul Walker; a step-daughter, Cathy Hernandez; and a brother, Jack Parry Walker. He is survived by his Mother and step-father, John C. and Jackie Walker Acton, step-daughter, Melissa Hernandez; aunts, Viola Lute (Robert) and Barbara Goodloe; and uncles, Robert Olson (Linda) and Fred Olson (Terry); and a nephew, Jacob Walker.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 5 until 8 PM. Chapel services will be held Thursday beginning at 11 AM with entombment to follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Rev. Tim Collier officiating.
