Janice Lynne Collins Williamson, age 56 of Gardendale, AL passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015. Janice was a wonderful mother, an adoring grandmother, sister, and daughter who truly enjoyed doing for others. She was a member of the East Gardendale Baptist Church and graduated from Gardendale High School in 1977. Janice was retired from the US Postal Service. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ruth Collins. She is survived by her father, Thomas Rodney Collins, Sr.(Sandra); a son, Thomas Jared Williamson; her daughter, Amanda Moore (Jeff); brother, Rodney Collins (Tara); and granddaughter, Ava Moore; a niece, Edie Collins.
Chapel funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 2 PM with a visitation beginning from 12 noon until service time. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens in Gardendale. Rev. Allen Davis will officiate services.
