

Jean Netheray Blocker Morse of Fultondale, Alabama, passed away at the age of 79 on March 20, 2015. She was born in South Georgia to John Elton Blocker and Bertie Lou Padgett Blocker in 1936. She was the eleventh of twelve siblings. From early in life she was taught the value of hard work and the importance of family love. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was firm in her testimony of Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years Robert Lee Morse; son, Ralph James Morse, II; daughters, Gloria Jean Bennett Boswell (C. Eric), Delores Verona Bennett Petite (Angelo), Sally Morse Kersh (Stephen); sister, Esther Blocker Carlson; grandchildren, Clifton Adam Boswell (Jerilyn), Erica Nicole Boswell Dunwoody (Jacob), Samuel James Boswell, Spencer Bennett Boswell, Catherine Michelle Boswell, Alexandra Claire Boswell, Jordan Alyse Mann, Bryce Alexander Petite; great grandchildren, Benjamin Eric Boswell, Isaac Joseph Boswell.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015, from 10:30 – 11:30 AM with a service to follow at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gardendale, Alabama. Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel Directing.
