Jeanette Salyers

Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, JD Salyers, her parents Ollie and Ruby McCurry, her sister Dorothy Graves (Lamar) and her brother Ed McCurry.

Jeanette is survived by her son, Gary Salyers (Leslee), daughter, Deborah Tawbush, and sister Margie Huffstutler. Jeanette was affectionately known as “Nanny” by her grandchildren – Erica Tray (Pete), Robert Hughes, Dwayne Salyers (Theresa) and Randi Fluke, her great grandchildren – Kaitlynn Stowell (Matt), Drey Hughes, Aubrey Hughes, Emilee Tray, Braydon Tray, Journey Hodges and Kathryn Salyers, and her great great grandchild Bryce Stowell.

Jeanette was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She had a giving heart, loved the Lord and was a prayer warrior for her loved ones. She will be missed by all that were blessed to know her.

A visitation for Jeanette will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of floral remembrances, donations may be made to Enon Baptist Church.
