Jimmy Wayne Nelson Jr., age 38, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at his residence. Jimmy was born in Birmingham, AL on August 31, 1984 to parents, Jimmy and Tinny Nelson. Jimmy graduated from Tarrant High School in 2005. He enjoyed swimming, playing basketball and bowling.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Nelson, Sr; brother, Christopher Nelson and aunt, Buttercup.
Jimmy is survived by his mother, Tinny Nelson; brother, William Mark Nelson; sister, Tina Nelson; niece, Blakeligh Nelson and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jimmy will be greatly missed.
A graveside service for Jimmy will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Marvin's Chapel Cemetery, 4507 Bud Holmes Road, Pinson, AL 35071.
