JoAnn Ratliff

Velma "JoAnn" Ratliff, age 90, of Warrior, Alabama passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022. JoAnn was born on October 16, 1931 in Mangum, OK to Henry Bert and Ella Mae Herron. JoAnn was a devoted wife to Henry Evans Ratliff for 62 years. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing, embroidering and most of all spending time with her family. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ratliff; daughter, Patty Bradford; sisters, Peggy Lou Herron, Doris Tinsley, and Shirley Simmons. JoAnn is survived by her daughters, Becky Hill and Carol Quick (Tim); six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; her brother, Donald Herron (Diane) of Mustang, OK; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Graveside services will be held Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Sulphur Springs Cemetery, Hayden, AL 35079.
