Mr. Rutledge was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Juanita Rutledge; his father, Thomas Carlos Rutledge; step-mother, Martha Esther Rutledge, and brother, Richard Dwight Rutledge. He is survived by his son, William Thomas Rutledge of Jasper, AL; his daughter, Angela Nicole Carlisle of Birmingham, AL; his sister, Karen Sue Bullock of Birmingham, AL; his niece, Kimberly Swink (Darrell) of Denver, Colorado; his niece, Amy Rutledge Neville (Greg) of Rancho Cucamonga, California; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great nieces.
A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 1:00 PM.
