John Mitchell Martin

Mitchell was a lifelong resident of Pinson, AL where he grew up playing little league baseball and football. He attended Pinson Valley High School and Rogers Vocational. He then started a career working alongside his daddy in the family’s machine shop. Mitchell was a family man. He adored his parents, brothers, daughter, and especially his two grandchildren.

Mitchell is survived by his loving family. Parents, Bill and Bonnie Martin, Daughter, Melanie Martin, Grandchildren, Sophia Grace & Asher Scott, Brothers, Mike, Mark (Patti), and Matt, and many nieces and nephews. Mitchell never met a stranger and leaves behind many friends.

Visitation for friends will be held Friday, April 29, 2022 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. Followed by funeral services and hi burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.
