Joyce is predeceased by her husband, Ersie Bernard Russell, Sr. (Bernard). Her greatest achievement in life is her three children, Ersie Bernard Russell, Jr. (Rusty) (wife, Kelly), John Graydon Russell (wife, Beth) and Ginny Steely (husband, Kenneth). She raised her three children in Sulphur Springs Baptist Church and, along with Bernard, taught their children the difference between wrong and right and to love Jesus. She is survived by her three children mentioned above, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be graveside only, Monday February 22, 2021 at 2:00PM at Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Hayden, Alabama. The cemetery is located at the corner of Rickwood Caverns Road and Russell Road in Hayden, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the following:
