Judy Ilene Walker

Judy Ilene Walker, 78, of Fultondale, Alabama, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at her home. She was born on March 21, 1947, at East End Memorial Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, and was preceded in death by her parents, L. B. Walker and Hazel Virginia Walker.

Judy was a 1965 graduate of Haleyville High School and later earned her Bachelor of Science degree in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2006. She worked for many years as a dedicated employee of AmSouth Bank and Keller Williams Realty, as well as in other business and retail positions, where she was beloved throughout her career.

Creative and talented, Judy enjoyed a wide variety of arts and crafts projects. She was a member of the Southern Decorative Artists at Bluff Park United Methodist Church and of the American Sewing Guild, where she shared her skills and love of handiwork with others. Judy was a kind and caring neighbor and a devoted rescue pet parent to her beloved mixed-breed dog, Roxie. She was also a faithful member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church.

For all who knew and loved Ms. Judy Ilene Walker, her friends invite you to celebrate her life at a graveside service to be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Section 31, at 600 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive Birmingham, AL 352111-2835 at 1:00 p.m. on December 31, 2025.
