Junius Wayne Bransby

Junius Wayne Bransby, age 65 of Pleasant Grove, AL passed away to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 11th, 2015. Wayne was a wonderful husband, father, and “Pawpaw” who was very much loved and will be greatly missed and he will forever live in our hearts. He loved spending time and fellowshipping with his family and friends. He enjoyed good food, Auburn football, T-Ball, softball, and coaching.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Bransby and his mother, Helen Campbell and step-father, J.D. Campbell.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Virginia “Ginger” Bransby, daughter, Ashley Kearley (Tim); his two sons, Phillip and Jeremy (Carol) Bransby; three beloved granddaughters, MacKenzie and Kendall Kearley, and Hali Bransby; a sister, Cindy Woods (Grady); brother, Chris Bransby (Carol); his best friends, Tommy Lacey and Don Ingram, and his many other friends and family. Wayne worked 42 years for Clark Corporation in Helena where he retired several years ago.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 5 until 8 PM followed by Chapel funeral service on Sunday beginning at 2 PM. Interment will be in Garden City Cemetery in Hanceville, AL. Services will be officiated by his friend of many years, Pastor Wayne Hawkins.
