Larry Wayne Green

Larry was a 1970 graduate of Gardendale High School and went on to complete his education with a degree in business. He was always a hard worker and retired with 40 years of service at Royal Cup Coffee as their district manager.

After retirement, he enjoyed spending time with family especially at the lake and taking time to travel.

Those who were fortunate enough to know him knew that he was the most considerate, generous, caring, and loving man. We all have been so blessed to have him in our lives.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Tillman J Green and Evelyn Louise Vinson Green, and his son, Michael “Adam” Green.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Terry McCreless Green; daughter, Jennifer Young (Allen); grandchildren, Kaleigh, Katelyn and Cole Young; brothers, Gene Green (Carol), Jimmy Green (Susan), Ricky Green, David Green (Gail), and a loving extended family.

Celebration of life Services for Larry will be held Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, with a time of visitation to begin at 12:00pm; celebration of life service at 2:00 PM, followed by his burial at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.
