Larry H. Phillips Sr.

Larry H. Phillips Sr., age 69, of Mount Olive, Alabama passed away on Tuesday July 2, 2019. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Hugh B. and Betty June Phillips, his two sisters Connie Pilkington, Sharon Roper, and his brother Jerry Phillips. He is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years Shelby Phillips and his loving children Barry Clark Phillips (Regina), Larry H. Phillips Jr. (Daphne), Kari Early (Johnny), Rene Satterfield (Frankie), Georgia Flowers (Michael) and Wayne Jennings (Michelle). Also survived by his sister Peggy Butler (Berd) and 11 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Larry was a Master Technician in Industrial Refrigerant for 52 years and a member of the Local Union 91 of the United Association of Plumbers and Steam Fitters.

A celebration of life visitation for Larry will be held Friday, July 5, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A celebration of life service will occur Friday, July 5, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A burial will follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, Alabama 35071.
