Laurita J Randall

LauRita Hargett Randall, 83, of Gardendale,AL passed peacefully surrounded by the deep love and care of her family yesterday. She was born in Hopewell, AL on October 28th, 1935 to Thelma and Cecil Hargett

Rita is survived by her children, Mike Randall (Vanesa), Teri Randall (Tracy Carter ), and Sandi Shields (Mike), siblings, Juanita Marona, Leroy Hargett. Her Husband, James Randall preceded her in death.

“Nonnie” is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

The family would like to thank the dedicated nurses and staff at Fair Haven as well as Linda Shempart, Robyn Abel NP, and Ashley Echols from hospice

She lived her life fully, always loving her family, rooting for the Auburn Tigers, traveling the world, and consistently praising our lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

Visitation is set for 5:00-8:00 on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Ridout’s of Gardendale located at 2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071 followed by a memorial service on Friday at 11:00 am. Services will be officiated by Jim Marona. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Pinson, AL.
