Larry was a collector or many things but above all he was an avid gun collector. His passion for guns was always a top pick of conversation. He loved to talk about and show off his extensive and some even rare prized pieces of his gun collection.
Larry loved being outside doing what he called “piddling”. He enjoyed the outdoors and anything to do with nature. He even chopped his own firewood up until the age of 80 years old. A great past time that Larry enjoyed was reading and watching documentaries about American history and biographies mostly concerning old western and civil war periods.
Fishing was also one of Larry's favorite past times. He spent as much time as possible in his boat with his little brother Kenny trying to catch “The Big One”.
Larry was a faithful husband, loving father and adored Pawpaw. His profession of faith in The Lord and sharing his hope of spending Eternity in Heaven brings the family comfort and peace in knowing they will see him again one day.
