Linda Nora Brock

Linda Reese Brock, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025 at the age of 88. She was born on March 5, 1937 in Cullman County, Alabama to Troy and Emma Riley. She was a longtime resident of Gardendale, Alabama.

Linda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid gardener and devoted many years to the planting and propagating of native Alabama wildflowers and ferns. She shared her love of nature by hosting annual tours of her gardens and donating plants to many Botanical Gardens in Alabama.

Linda was a devoted Christian and a true example of the Proverbs 31 woman, She was a member of Gardendale Church of Christ.

Linda was preceded in death by both parents, her husband of 53 years Bill Brock; sons, Ray Brock and Lee Brock and son-in-law, Tommy Parker.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Lisa Parker; granddaughter, Julianne McGoldrick (Mike); great-grandson, Brock Powell; sister, Arminda Floyd (Bill); brother, Randall Reese (Sherrie) and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Linda will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Rd, Gardendale, AL 35071.
